Soaring to an elevation of 12,183, Trail Ridge Road passes through Rocky Mountain National Park between the towns of Estes Park and Grand Lake

As you travel along you will have the unique ability to see all the way to Wyoming in the north, to Colorado’s vast plains and Longs Peak to the east, and to the headwaters of the Colorado River in the west.

Estes Park is located around 90 minutes from Denver and just under an hour from Boulder. While Estes Park is fun to visit, the real charm in the area lies in the spectacular scenery.

Many people also enjoy a stay in Estes Park and a special experience is to stay in an authentic Estes Park Cabin.  There are many choices, some are even nestled among Ponderosa pines or sitting next to a rushing river.  The warm pine fragrance and sounds of the river says relaxation.
